Introducing Our New Sleep Therapy Service at Tower Hill Clinic

“Rustic bedroom scene with wooden furniture and warm lighting, featuring a sleep therapist talking to a mother holding a baby while a father listens. An older child sleeps peacefully in a bed, creating a cozy and serene atmosphere.”

We are excited to announce the launch of a new service at Tower Hill Clinic – our skilled sleep therapy program. With expertise in infant and child sleep therapy, as well as adult sleep therapy, our dedicated therapist is available to assist you and your family in improving your sleep quality.

Our Holistic Approach to Sleep Therapy

Understanding that sleep issues can be complex, our therapist takes a holistic approach to uncover the root causes affecting sleep. Whether it’s the timing, length, or quality of sleep, a thorough review of various factors will help tailor an effective plan for you or your child. No two cases are the same, and each sleep plan is customized to meet the individual’s specific goals and circumstances.

Infant & Child Sleep Therapy (Up to 12 years)

We provide specialized support for infants and children, mindful of their emotional and developmental needs. Our services include:

  • Antenatal guidance and early sleep shaping

  • Nap transitions and age-appropriate routines

  • Addressing late bedtimes, night waking, or early rising

  • Overcoming the need to sleep with a parent in the room

  • Gentle self-settling tools (e.g., phasing out feeding, rocking, or holding to sleep)

  • Transitioning from a cot to a bed or from co-sleeping to own bed

  • Gentle night weaning from the breast or bottle

  • Managing childhood nightmares and night terrors

  • Tailored strategies for neurodivergent children

Adult Sleep Therapy

Our sleep therapy services for adults aim to optimise sleep for improved performance and energy. We address:

  • Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or with early waking

  • Overthinking in bed and sleep-related anxiety

  • Bedtime procrastination

  • Relaxation and worry management techniques

  • Daytime fatigue

  • Sleep disturbances during pregnancy, perimenopause, and postmenopause

  • Travel, jet lag, or shift work

  • Sleeping with a bed partner

  • Snoring

The Process

  1. Initial Contact: Arrange a free 20-minute phone call to discuss your sleep issues, goals, and how our therapist can help.

  2. Assessment Consultation: Book a 1-hour consultation (available face-to-face or online) to dive deeper into your sleep concerns.

  3. Questionnaire and Diary: For infants and children, parents will complete a short questionnaire and keep a 48-hour food, sleep, and activity diary. Adults will fill out a detailed sleep, health, and lifestyle questionnaire.

  4. Personalised Sleep Plan: After the consultation, receive a customised sleep plan with relevant resources.

  5. Follow-Up: Schedule an online follow-up (typically after 2-3 weeks) to support the implementation of the sleep plan, answer questions, and monitor progress.

  6. Further Support: Additional follow-ups are available if needed for further guidance or troubleshooting.

Achieve the restful sleep you deserve with our dedicated sleep therapy services.
